Software Developer / Nairobi, Kenya
Portfolio
Most developers hand over code. I hand over working systems: designed, built, connected to the tools a business already runs on, and kept running long after launch.
Selected work
Recent work and the solutions I've built for clients.
One app and one database serving the Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda sites. Each country has its own staff, roles and content, adopts content from the others with real-time notifications, and runs its own SEO and email campaigns.
02 / 04
An online store synced two ways with SAP Business One: orders become SAP invoices, SAP sends back prices, stock, returns and KRA tax receipt numbers, and customers pay by M-Pesa or Paystack.
03 / 04
A freelance writing marketplace: clients post assignments, vetted writers bid and deliver, and wallets, Paystack payouts, disputes and refunds keep the money safe. Real-time messaging and support built in.
Tracks showroom visits, customers and purchases, runs QR-code reward campaigns where visitors draw a prize, and syncs its catalogue from the main website.
About
My journey into software development began while studying Applied Physics and Computer Science, where curiosity about how websites work became a love for crafting user-centred experiences.
I've grown from building static pages to designing complete business systems: multi-site platforms, online stores connected to ERP, and the APIs behind mobile apps. I partner with businesses and individuals to build software that solves real-world problems.

Experience
Sole developer, owning every system end to end: design, code, hosting and security. Building a multi-country platform that will run the Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda sites from one codebase, with per-country admin, shared content and a built-in email campaign system. Took over the main website and rebuilt its SEO, speed and security. Built an e-commerce store synced two ways with SAP Business One, and a showroom system that tracks footfall and runs QR reward campaigns. I also support the team on SAP Business One.
Built features for LEYSCO100, a Laravel and Vue ERP & CRM for East African businesses. Built the form settings that let each business configure its document forms and user menus without code, served through the API to both the web app and the mobile apps, and a menu installer that sets up web and mobile navigation across modules. Supported the clients running it day to day.
Learned how web systems work at their core and how they integrate with other platforms, while helping plan, design and build client platforms in an agile team.
Education
Where I wrote my first lines of code. Physics and mathematics alongside computer science: programming, data structures and algorithms, databases, computer systems and networks, with physics teaching me to break a hard problem into parts I can test. For my final-year project I built a smart irrigation system on IoT, with sensors reading soil conditions and watering only when the crop needs it, hardware and software working as one system.
Practical training in office productivity tools (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and databases) and everyday computer use. My first formal step into computing.
Focused on mathematics and the sciences, the foundation for a degree in physics and computer science.
