Sheffield E-commerce

An online store synced two ways with SAP Business One: orders become SAP invoices, SAP sends back prices, stock, returns and KRA tax receipt numbers, and customers pay by M-Pesa or Paystack.

Overview

The problem and the fix

The challenge

Sales already ran through SAP Business One. An online store was only useful if it showed the same prices and stock, and if its orders reached SAP without anyone typing them in twice.

What I built

A Laravel and Livewire store with a two-way sync to SAP, mobile money and card payments, and quote requests for business buyers.

How it works

From start to finish

  1. Step 1

    Customer

    Browses, orders and pays

  2. Step 2

    Online store

    Laravel · Livewire

  3. Step 3

    SAP Business One

    Invoices, prices, stock, KRA numbers

Key features

What it does

Two-way SAP sync

Orders, prices, stock and returns move between the store and SAP Business One automatically.

Invoices & KRA receipts

Each order becomes an SAP invoice, and its KRA tax receipt number comes back to the store.

M-Pesa & Paystack

Customers pay by mobile money or card.

Quote requests

Business buyers can request a quotation instead of checking out.
